SALSA DANCE PARTY

No experience, no partner needed. Lessons, dancing and fun at our Tucker Avenue Branch open to all adults. For members, pre-registration is $5.00 and $10 at the door.

Are you at risk for developing Type 2 diabetes? Free Healthy Screenings for Diabetes Prevention. YMCA of Eastern Union County and Overlook Medical Center. Tuesday, May 15, 4:30-6:30 PM. Register for free health screenings: Blood Pressure, BMI, Blood Glucose Test. If your results indicate further screening for Diabetes an A1C Blood Test will be offered for free. $10.00 Value. Join us for Salsa, Sabor y Salud, a healthy lifestyle program for Latino families. The eight-week program, developed by the National Latino Children’s Institute, focuses on how small changes at home can lead to greater Health and well-being for the whole family.
We know when we work as one, we can move people and communities forward. We need your help to serve on an advisory committee to assist with community outreach, participant recruitment and general advice for this program.
