Understanding the Ebola Virus

As you may be aware, there are growing concerns across the country as several viruses and enteroviruses continue to spread. Also, with winter approaching, flu season is upon us. As part of our partnership with the Y, the Nonprofit Risk Management Center has created this list of tips and information to help you and your families stay healthy!

The Gateway Family YMCA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, health and community service organization of caring staff and volunteers who are dedicated to providing quality services to people of all ages, races, faiths or incomes.

The Y is a powerful association of men, women and children of all ages and from all walks of life joined together by a shared passion: to strengthen the foundations of community.
FOR YOUTH DEVELOPMENT – Nurturing the potential of every child and teen through child care, afterschool child care, day camp, sports, arts, learn to swim, teen and health and well-being classes.
FOR HEALTHY LIVING – Improving the nation’s health and well-being with programs and membership for youth, teens, adults, seniors and families. Programs include: yoga, zumba, volleyball, basketball, tae kwon do, arthritis, dance, health assessments, personal training, diabetes prevention, swimming and adult and child learn to swim.
FOR SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY – Giving back and providing support for our neighbors. The Y has supportive housing for individuals and families, Adult Day Care, Financial Assistance along with community engagement.

The Gateway Family YMCA offers Free memberships to 7th grade students as part of the 7th Grade Initiative of NJ YMCA's.
